500kW C&I Battery Energy Storage System
500kW Battery Energy Storage Systems have been created to be a install ready and cost effective on-grid, hybrid, off-grid commercial/industrial energy storage system. Each system is designed and shipped with the batteries pre installed utilizing UN 3536 shipping standards. Each BESS container has a PV inverter making it easy for completing your renewable energy project. Multiple functionality modes allows simple switching between Grid, PV, or Genset enabling better user control and stability. All system systems are offered in either 400VAC or 480VAC 3 phase.
Our commercial and industrial battery systems include Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery packs connected in high voltage DC configurations. Battery Systems come with 5000 cycle warranty and up to 80% DOD (Depth of Discharge) @ 1C 25℃.

Coremax Battery Energy to provide battery management solutions for Islas Secas, a 100% solar powered island resort off the coast of Panama.
The island microgrid is powered by a 355 kW photovoltaic (PV) array. Coremax Energy provided a custom energy storage system (ESS) controller to enable unified control of 27 battery banks and two diesel gensets. We also provided a battery management system to expand battery storage capacity by an additional 500 kWh. An downloadable Energy Storage Case Study is available.
PROJECT DETAILS:
- Solar-powered eco-resort off the coast of Panama
- 355 kW PV array + 1.5 MWh of storage (LiFePo4 batteries) to provide power at night
- Two 200kW diesel backup generators

- Replace existing BMS in 1.5 MWh system, provide BMS for additional 500 kWh of storage
The solar array powers all appliances, lighting, air conditioning and systems on the island, switching off at dusk to run only silent battery power at night. The solar array will turn on at sunrise to refuel the batteries from the night before, while continuing to run the island’s electric loads.
